Rachel knew she wanted to perform since the tender age of 7 when she would ”wow” her family with her Donny Osmond impersonations. Rachel went on to study musical theatre at U.S.I.U. in San Diego and extended her studies into classical theatre after auditioning for the Old Globe Theatre acting program. She was active in community theatre choreographing and performing in many musicals including “Guys & Dolls”, “Cabaret”, “My Fair Lady” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.” In ’94 she moved to Chicago and began studying improvisation at Second City where she wrote and performed in two sketch comedies while also performing with other improv groups such as The Free Associates and The Factory. She toured inner city schools performing improv as part of an outreach program called Urban Gateways for two years while also teaching, directing and choreographing youth theatre for both Chicago and suburban school districts.
